ONLINE WORSHIP
This month's newsletter submission will be my final as Pastor of First Baptist Church in Framingham, but not necessarily as a church member. I will be making a vocational move to become Executive Director of The Massachusetts Baptist Charitable Society, but do not plan to move my church membership from First Baptist. I will not attend services until a Pastor is hired and settled, however will remain on the membership roll. These past twelve years have been the most rewarding of my twenty-six years as a Pastor, and I am grateful to you and our God for them. In the weeks to come you will hear many fine and inspired sermons from a variety of people and candidates, and my prayers are with the Pastor search committee as well as the entire congregation as you discern the next candidate. My best wisdom to share in the coming weeks and months is pray without ceasing and do not rush the decision. The Christian life can be as much about timing as anything else, and history shows there is timing in our spirituality. God speaks, we listen, and sometimes we listen for what feels like a prolonged period of time. If you have curious questions about what I will be doing in the weeks to come, I invite you to ask.
