Pastor's Message

Dear First Baptist Family,
I am writing with the hopes that we all are continuing to grow in spirit and faith during these past few months of quarantine. The purpose of this letter is to update everyone on the plans to reopen the sanctuary for worship on Sunday mornings at 10 am. I respect that some of us may continue to stay home for now, and that others are ready to worship in person, so our church leadership is working diligently to provide for both in-person and online worship.
In-person worship begins this Sunday, August 9, at 10 am.All are invited, and our diaconate will be present to usher us safely into the sanctuary beginning at 9:45 am. Please arrive with your mask on, and enter through the front doors. We will not be using the kitchen or Reilly Hall for the next few weeks. The sanctuary, Jefferson Hall and the bathroom in Jefferson Hall will be cleaned thoroughly in preparation for our service, and no other groups will use the building during the week.
