Welcome to the First Baptist Church in Framingham!
We are an American Baptist Church with a long history that celebrates the core values of Faith, Family, Joy, Creativity and Growth.
This is a church that is presently between pastors, but it hasn't missed a beat in its ministry or mission during this time of transition. This is largely because of strong and committed lay leaders who generously share their gifts and work in a spirit of loving cooperation.
Elsewhere on this site you will find a timeline outlining the church's rich history, as well as photos of Children's Day and the Talent Show last spring. The church's newsletter also contains news of upcoming events and programs. The ages of the congregation presently range from 3 months to 99 years - and we cherish each and every one.
We gather every Sunday morning at 10:30 for worship and Sunday School, and you are warmly invited to join us - in person or via Zoom. Our talented musician and choir bless us with beautiful music every week, and the Christian Education Director tells a story for the children that also inspires the adult children of God.
I have been blessed to be the Interim Pastor of this church since May, 2024. The congregation and I are on a pilgrimage during this time of transition, working together to follow Jesus as the church searches for its next pastor. We appreciate your prayers for all of us during this time.

This year's "talent show" was as fun as usual with some real talent and general silliness and good fun. We were able to raise over $800 to benefit the Levin-Chute Scholarship fund.
